Overview
We are seeking a highly capable Project Manager to lead a GDPR-centric Post-Separation and Integration (PS&I) programme within a financial services client. The role involves driving technical delivery across multiple platforms and teams, ensuring alignment of business objectives and technology requirements. The successful candidate will provide structured project leadership, rapid issue resolution, and clear communication with engineering, business, and executive stakeholders.
Responsibilities
– Lead end-to-end delivery of GDPR compliance technical solutions within the PS&I programme.
– Coordinate cross-functional teams to align technical requirements with business objectives and timelines.
– Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including dependencies, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.
– Conduct complex system analysis across multiple platforms and integrate findings into actionable project deliverables.
– Prepare and present clear, data-driven executive reports on project status, risks, and recommendations.
– Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and actions throughout the project lifecycle.
– Facilitate transparent communication and collaboration among engineering, business, and senior leadership stakeholders.
– Drive resolution of technical and organizational challenges to maintain project momentum.
Required education
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
Required experience
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on project management experience delivering complex technology initiatives across multiple platforms and teams, preferably within the financial services industry. Proven track record in GDPR compliance programmes and integration projects, with strong stakeholder management and executive reporting skills.
Additional requirements
Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification is preferred. Occasional travel may be required to client sites. Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are a plus.
