Overview
We are seeking a German-speaking Mechanical Supervisor for ball mill installations and maintenance within cement plant projects across Germany. The role involves supervising mechanical activities, coordinating contractors, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and schedule requirements. You will provide clear daily reporting and resolve site issues independently.
Responsibilities
– Supervise mechanical installation and shutdown activities for ball mills
– Coordinate and oversee contractors and customer representatives on site
– Monitor and enforce quality, safety, and project progress standards
– Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve practical mechanical site issues
– Produce and maintain clear daily reports and follow-up actions
– Ensure all work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedules
– Maintain overall project overview and support proactive site operations
Required education
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent vocational qualification.
Required experience
Documented experience working in cement plants, with a focus on mechanical installation, maintenance, or shutdown projects. Proven track record in supervising site operations and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
Additional requirements
German language skills are mandatory. Willingness to travel to multiple sites across Germany for 6–10 week projects. Valid safety certifications and relevant industry permits required.
