Fire Alarm System Engineer – Offshore Substation
Location: Aalborg | Offshore-projekt
Start date: July 1, 2025, 3 months with possibility of extension
We’re looking for a technically skilled Fire Alarm Systems Engineer (FAS) to work with advanced fire protection systems on an offshore substation (OSS). You’ll be a key figure in the installation, testing, and integration of fire alarm systems (FAS).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Setup, testing, and troubleshooting of Fire Alarm Systems (primarily Consilium and Siemens US)
- Support during SAT and collaboration with other system suppliers on interfaces
- Working with safety and surveillance systems in high-criticality environments
- Close coordination with electrical engineering, SCADA, and other installations on the OSS
We expect you to have:
- Solid general knowledge of electronics and electrical measurements
- Experience with fire protection systems / FAS
- Understanding of safety systems and their function in integrated environments
- L-AUS certification (electrical safety in Denmark) – can be obtained after hiring
- Ability to read technical diagrams and understand system interfaces
It’s a plus if you:
- Have experience with Consilium and Siemens US FAS systems (certification can be obtained after hiring)
- Hold GWO or offshore certifications (required for SAT tasks) – can be obtained after hiring
- Have experience working on OSS or other offshore facilities
